BORGARBÓKASAFNIÐ

Do you have an idea for an interesting project, such as a concert, a creative workshop for children, an innovation project that encourages community participation, or something else inspiring and unique, but lack a suitable venue because event spaces are expensive and your living room is simply too small?
If your project aligns with the values and priorities of the Reykjavík City Library, we encourage you to apply for a collaboration by filling out the form here on our website.
We can offer a variety of event spaces and support with promotion, free of charge, provided that your event is free and open to everyone .
Many small ideas that started at the library over the past few years have grown into successful initiatives. We therefore encourage writers, artists, and those working on community-focused projects to explore this opportunity.
It is also a great idea to apply for funding through relevant grant programs. Reykjavík City supports a wide range of cultural and community projects, and applications are open until 30 September.
So roll up your sleeves and turn that great idea into reality!
